Asthma Clinic
Appointments can be made with the practice nurse for asthma and spirometry management.
Child Health and Development
The GP's run our Child Health Clinic. During this clinic we will perform the 6 week check on new babies.
Counselling Service
Our counselling service is provided by Oakdale Services Ltd. You need to make an appointment with one of the doctors at the surgery, who will refer you to the counselling service. Information about this service can be found on their website www.theoakdalecentre.co.uk
Diabetic Clinic
We offer review appointments for patients with diabetes. Please book an appointment with a Practice Nurse.
Epilepsy Monitoring
We offer an annual check up to any patient suffering from epilepsy. It gives patients an opportunity to air any problems they may be having and enables us to arrange blood, urine and other checks as may be appropriate. Please make an appointment with a GP.
Health Care Assistant Clinic
The Health Care Assistant is trained in weight management, blood pressure, phlebotomy (taking blood), Flu/Pneumo/B12/Shingles injections, NHS health checks, ECG's and breath tests. If you would like to make an appointment with the Health Care Assistant, please contact the surgery.
Health Checks
Any patient can book for a routine check with the nurse if they feel that they would like one. Such a screen would include height / weight / blood pressure / urine examination, as well as other tests appropriate to specific individuals.
Phlebotomy
Blood testing occurs as usual in the pathology department of the hospital Monday to Friday without an appointment.
However we do have pre-booked phlebotomy appointments with our HCA’s during surgery hours . Please ring the surgery to make an appointment for this.
